Ladies if you have never been off shore fishing then you have to try it just once.
If you've never been fishing before ,ever, then you don't know what your missing.
If you've been off shore fishing and do enjoy it then you can understand why I am saying ,Ya Gotta Try it Ladies.
BUT. Before you do there are a few things I learned that I wish some one had told me before we left the dock.
1) No matter how many times you've been out on a boat, your not prepared.
2) Don't eat anything heavy before setting out.(Yeah. Like I did.)
3) Remember your sunscreen.( gotta keep from burning)
4) Take a ziplock bag with wet towels.(your gonna need it)
5) No matter who says the ride out is always worse the than the 6 foot swells, thier Full Of IT.( I had to bounce up and down to keep from being beat to death)
6) When the boat comes to a stop, grab your ziplock of wet towels.
7) About 15 to 20 minutes after you arrive, you realize just how queasy you feel.
8) Know those towels you have, yeah go ahead try one on the back of your neck.
9) Don't drink ice water.
10)If you must toss everything do it with style.
I realize that some people never feel anything thier first time out, I didn't, until that is we went off shore and the waves were big enough to surf back to land. The rise and fall of the boat kinda made me sleepy at first, then,i got a slight headache and started tossing lunch. I felt better for sure.Figured once wasn't so bad, I could deal with that and besides I love to fish.I wiped my face, rinsed my mouth, baited my hook and tossed out my line.I was good to go.Some one passed me some water and a pack of crackers. We decided to move a bit the wake from passing freighters was really bad.Oh yeah....the boat came to anchor and the water that felt so refreshing going down, wasn't the same comming up. So adies, I want you to know whats waiting for you if you decide to go off shore or deep sea fishing.
As for me... Well we're going back this weekend...(thought i'd give it one more try)
11)ALWAYS TAKE SOMETHING FOR MOTION SICKNESS.....
